Hi, I'm Vanessa Lerner, a local 4th grade teacher and the founder of Little Lerners Academy. I have 5 years of classroom experience teaching and 4 years of private and small group tutoring.
Why I Started Little Lerners
For years, parents have asked me if I offered anything over the summer. And honestly, I've been wanting to for a while. Every fall, I watch kids come back to school having lost so much of what they worked so hard for the year before.
Little Lerners Academy is my way of giving kids a place where learning doesn't just stop in June.
About the Program
My groups are small and intentional. Everything is built around real grade-level skills, but in a way that actually feels fun. We meet at my home, the setting is comfortable and low pressure. Sessions are filled with hands-on activities and book club discussions, so kids keep learning without it feeling like summer school.
